Crock Pot Country Chicken Soup

Ingredients

2 onions, chopped
2 carrots, sliced (2 to 3)
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 tsp. salt & pepper
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. leaf thyme
3 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1 package peas
2 1/2 lb. Fryer
4 cups water
1 cup noodles

Directions

Place all in Crock-Pot except noodles in order listed. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. (High 4-6 hours) One hour before serving remove chicken, cool and pull meat from bones. Return to soup. Add noodles, turn to High and cook one hour.

Suprina’s Day After Beef Stew

Ingredients-
1 lb. Beef Tips
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 small bag carrots
6 red potatoes
1 large onion
1 can of mushroom soup
2 stalks celery

Directions-
1. Brown Beef tips with a dash of salt and pepper. (Do not fully cook just brown)
2. Place in crock pot add 3 cups of water and onion soup mix. Cook on low for about 5 hours. Add water as needed.
3.Add carrots, red potatoes, onions, and celery and cook for about 3 more hours.
4. 30 minutes before serving add Mushroom soup.

My husband loves this recipe. He actually said it is better the day after.
